Who We Are

Pop Goes The Party was established in 2017 by a husband and wife team who are passionate about music and creating memorable experiences.

We are so fortunate to be in the beautiful Run Wild Music studios in Great Bardfield. The studios are a retreat from the usual industrial studio and instead offer a relaxed, home from home feel. See our gallery for some photographs!

Being a small family business, we offer a personal touch and have a real passion for delivering the ultimate party experience!

From enquiry stage, right through to the day of your party, we offer a personalised and professional approach and we are mindful of our guests individual needs.

This is Anthony, Pop Goes The Party’s record producer.

Anthony is responsible for recording our party guests’ songs and works his mixing magic on them. He loves working with young people and guides our partygoers through their recording experience, making it a fun and easy process!

As well as being an ace record producer, Anthony plays guitar, bass and piano and has had experience of playing in bands since he was in secondary school. He has a diploma in Music Performance and has taught bass guitar at the college level.

Anthony also works at Run Wild Music, where he collaborates with a range of talented artists and bands, producing music and writing songs.

Favourite singer?

My favourite singer right now has to be Bruno Mars.

Favourite song?

Michael Jackson, "Beat It". I like a groove and a bass line.

Party trick?

My air guitar skills!

Favourite thing about Pop Star parties?

My favourite thing is seeing the reaction of the clients at the end of the parties, and being able to help make their celebration a memorable one.

This is Roisin, the owner and host of Pop Goes The Party.

Her role at Pop Goes The Party is to coordinate the parties and to run party games for the children whilst their single is being mixed.

Roisin's musical talents are limited to singing in the shower and being almost word perfect in early noughties R'n'B hits. What she lacks in musical finesse, she makes up for in experience of dealing with excited children - having had experience of working with children in primary schools and running around after three nippers of her own.

Favourite singer?

Stevie Wonder.

Favourite song?

Hall and Oates "You Make My Dreams Come True". It's the ultimate feel good track and was the first dance at my wedding.

Party trick?

My dolphin impression!

Favourite thing about Pop Star parties?

It's a difficult choice but I would have to say it's a toss up between the excitement of the children when they get in the vocal booth and the look of pride on parents' faces when they see their children singing their hearts out.
